NEW APPROACHES TO NEW AUDIENCES: Seeing young audiences through young people’s eyes 

Take Over Project Final Conference | 17 July 2017 | Avignon

On 17th July Take Over Project partners and Youth Board members as well as cultural professionals from across Europe met together for the final Take Over conference NEW APPROACHES TO NEW AUDIENCES as part of Festival d’Avignon.

Outcomes of the project were discussed and conference participants had a chance to debate and share their experience in audience development. A Learning Kit that summarises partner’s journey through the project was presented to the participants.

2.30pm: Welcome and Introduction

2.40pm: Keynote speech 'Take me over: social boundaries, emancipation and audience development' 

Goran Tomka, Lecturer at UNESCO Chair in Cultural policy and management, Belgrade 

3.10pm: Presentation of Take Over project 

Hear from our partners in Poland, Greece, Serbia and Italy about the Take Over Project 

3.30pm: Panel discussion

Project partcipants join a panel discussion chaired by James Mackenzie-Blackman, Executive Director, New Adventures Company, London. 

4.30pm: Presenation of the Learning Kit

By Vassilis Charalamnidis, Artistic Director, Bios, Greece and Akis Chontasis, Bios Youth Board Director.

4.40pm: Youth Board Voices 

Presentation of project outcomes from young people's perspective. 

5pm: Networking Reception

Following the final conference all delegates were invited complete a questionnaire.
